ABOUT THE SHOW

Samuel Beckett’s masterpiece one-act is an examination of life gone by, meticulously recorded on countless old tapes. Krapp is alone, feeble, and facing his own mortality. Has he lived well? Can he find the answers he needs hidden behind his own voice from the past?

This iteration of Krapp’s Last Tape was presented as part of the Treading Theatre Festival in Kitchener; fittingly, in the haunting attic of Schneider Haus National Historic Site.

REVIEWS

Charlotte Lilley, Intermission Magazine

“excellent direction by Colonescu”

“Kirkham’s delivery is wry and sympathetic”

“Kirkham and Colonescu’s work here is understated — possibly the most subtle of the festival’s offerings, and certainly one of its most effective.”
